Following is the last set of pictures from the Melbourne shoot. It was collectively taken from Ballarat, St Kilda and the drive along Great Ocean Road. For Daniel and Serene’s friends who wish to see more of the pictures, check out their album at their weddding next year.

The drive along Great Ocean Road is very scenic. We stopped every now and then along the way for a shoot whenever we spotted anything nice. I especially like this series of pictures with the hay as one of the subject. Storm is approaching and we are fighting for time for as many shots as possible before the rain hits us.

We were lucky to be able to catch the annual Tulip Festival, which provided another great opportunity for photo shoot.

All of us were very fascinated by the bakery shops in St Kilda. They all have wonderful display that really make you salivate and this particular one caught our attention so much that we ended up having our meals inside. They served really delicious meat pies.

When we walk passed Luna Park in the morning, we were wondering if we need to pay to enter and the good thing is, it’s free. You only need to pay if you are taking the rides. We are just taking a peep at this little bus parked inside but ended up doing a wonderful shoot.

I absolutely love the graffiti in St Kilda. They are all very nicely painted in my opinion. It’s a very common sight there and one thing, the fish and chips there was the best we have tasted in Melbourne. For those who are looking for nice bed sheets, good meat pies and cakes, be sure to check out St Kilda.

The actual gown shoot was done in Melbourne city itself. It was a bless that the weather was the best that day. That makes shooting a lot easier. If not, it would really be too cold to shoot. I’m trying to get a bouquet for the shoot and there are a couple of florists along the street. Shops in Melbourne generally close pretty early but I was wondering why is the florist opening 24 hours? Well, as long as I got my bouquet, who cares.

This couple in the background is really funny. They knew we are doing a wedding shoot and they cheekily position themselves between the bride and groom. It makes the picture looks interesting actually.

While we were doing our shoot at the State Library, we met a local who is a prefessional in the wedding biz. She told us she spotted us long ago way back in the morning. She offered to help with the gown and the nitty gritty details that we somehow miss out. Too bad I did not get her email, if not I can send her the blog for her to read.

The trip to Melbourne is indeed very memorable for me. It was not the places that we visited that gave me the most memory but the car ride. We drove around Victoria ourselves most of the time. The scenes of herds of sheeps and cows grazing on the grass provide a magnificent backdrop and this caught my attention for the entire ride. Though the ride may be long and tiring at times but scenes of the Australia Outback quickly overtook that.

This trip was meant to be a bridal shoot for our friend Daniel and Serene and I spend most of the time photographing them. So that leaves me with little time for my favourite scenery shoot.

Serene told me the most important thing in her wedding are the pictures and that somehow gave me a little pressure to have to do a good shoot for her. We travelled to a couple of places and the following pictures are a few from Port Campbell and Ballarat. It was a pity we did not make it to Sovereign Hill as it was a little too late when we got there. Nonetheless, we went to the Botanic Garden and had a pretty good shoot there as well. Will be posting more from the other places once I’m done with the DI. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Here’s a post from the shoot in Melbourne of Daniel and Serene that we did yesterday. The weather is freezing cold. It was lower than expected but we definitely enjoyed ourselves here. I must really salute the bride who has brave the weather for the shoot. The weather forecast says it’s going to be 5 degree tomorrow evening but we’ll still be heading down to the Great Ocean Road for the scenic shoot.
