Paul & Kristen

Monday, September 6th, 2010

Oh my…I just realised my last post was in 1 Jul. That was 2 months back. Apologies for the lack of update here. Here’s a series from Paul & Kristen’s solemnization. The first impression I have of Kristen is she resemble Jolin Tsai. Her mum said so too but Kristen doesn’t like it when we said that.

I like the small intimate affair they have here. Outdoor wedding is always so much nicer than doing it inside a hotel ballroom but Singapore weather is just crazily hot. It’s either you have the rain or the heat and I prefer neither.

Christopher & Melanie

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

Christoper and Melanie is one very fun couple to be with. Although it’s a very short event, I enjoyed myself from the start to the end. While Melanie is doing her make-up in the room, we got so sad seeing the rain approaching and there goes the nice pool side backdrop. But we managed to pull it off just before the rain comes. It was after the event when we went around the hotel for some shoot that I got to understand them a little more. They are absolutely fun loving people.

@ Tian Fu Teahouse with Boyce & Velda

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

Boyce and Velda had a very cosy solemnization at Tian Fu Teahouse by Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant with a couple of family members and close friends. The place is nice, the mood is nice, the thought both of them put in to decorate the restaurant is nice. I totally enjoy myself during the shoot. Thanks for having me there to share the joy.

Hengky & Ariyani

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

Hengky called me just 3 days before his wedding. I didn’t get to meet Ariyani until the day of thier wedding. It was later when I realised Ariyani actually emailed me sometime back. She’s a pretty good writer and has great interest in photography and I enjoy reading her blog. Her pre-wed shoot is very well done and she did some of the design for her album too. Do check out her post on pre-wedding as she has some very good pointers on the do’s and dont’s for pre-wed shoot.

ROM Shoot on Mid Autumn’s Festival III

Saturday, September 20th, 2008

The last set of pictures from this shoot. The buffet is good especially the tiramisu. A different Mid Autumn Festival for me this year with this shoot. Good food, nice ambience and not forgetting the pretty sisters and the handsome brothers.

ROM Shoot on Mid Autumn’s Festival II

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

Since the solemnization is not going to happen, I suggested going around the hotel taking pictures before the buffet dinner starts. The hotel has a very nice garden in it’s backyard. I’d love to take more if not for the rain.

ROM Shoot on Mid Autumn’s Festival

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

Manage to process some pictures after doing a shoot for an ex-colleague’s sister on Mid-Autumn Festival day itself. It feels good to be able to catch up with her after so many months. Poor thing, she really walk like a crab after some surgery done to her thigh. Hope she’ll recover soon.

This shoot is full of hipcups. Firstly, the ceremony is suppose to be a ROM solemnization but due to some miscommunication, it did not happen. Since everything was arranged and all their relatives and friends were invited, we proceeded with the shoot. Instead of signing the cert, we went around the hotel taking pictures. Secondly, I went to the wrong hotel, all thanks to Yvonne, who told me the wrong place. But nonetheless, it was a joy to meet up with old friend and of cos, shooting for her sister.

This set was taken inside the hotel room before we went out for the shoot.
