Hengky & Ariyani

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

Hengky called me just 3 days before his wedding. I didn’t get to meet Ariyani until the day of thier wedding. It was later when I realised Ariyani actually emailed me sometime back. She’s a pretty good writer and has great interest in photography and I enjoy reading her blog. Her pre-wed shoot is very well done and she did some of the design for her album too. Do check out her post on pre-wedding as she has some very good pointers on the do’s and dont’s for pre-wed shoot.

Hoe Yong & Amanda

It’s been a very long time since I last posted. The 2 weeks ICT sure takes up a lot of my time. As much as I dreaded it, it’s a once a year chance for me to catch up with my old buddies. To think that we are suppose to ‘cheong sua’ and do lots of training, I think I actually put on more weight than shedding it. All thanks to the numerous eat and sleep session we have inside.

So sorry Hoe Yong and Amanda, it’s been quite a delay due to my reservist. Finally tuned my mind back to the civilised world and got back to my work. Here are a couple of pics from your wedding. Am working eatra hard for the rest of the pics and hopefully it’ll be ready asap.

Their solemnization was done a day earlier at Bedok Methodist Church.

The guys from Boys Brigade really rock. It’s so much fun watching them do the rehearsal.

The ultimate ‘B’ for Boys Brigade.

Adeline & Lawrence

Yes..this blog is still alive. I’ll try to update this blog as often as possible, to continue to bring you more pictures and updates whenever possible. It has been a month of preparation, busy meeting advertisers and suppliers as well as finalising the look and feel of my new website etc etc.

It was my pleasure to be invited by Adeline to cover her wedding. She was a personal friend of mine for many years and we somehow lost contact for a couple of years till I met her on a bus one day. I was so happy when she called me earlier this year informing me about her wedding.

It’s always very heart warming seeing how the bride is anticipating the moment and how happy but yet anxious they are. Most of the time, they will be on their phone.

Gate Crashing game is the tradition in every Chinese wedding and it normally take place early in the morning. It can be quite loud and rowdy, depending on the extent the sisters wanna ’sabo’ the groom. This time, the neighbour is complaining we are too loud and is rather rude in scolding us. Well, I feel we should all be more accomodative towards wedding. Afterall, how often do you see your neighbour’s daughter getting married.

The wedding was held at Presbyterian Church. I was very impressed by the deco that the couple put up. Everything was prepared by themselves. Can really see the amount of time amd effort they have put in for their big day.

The flower boy is so cute. While I was shooting the ring, he was so interested and was playing with my the other camera which i left on the bench.

Jaslyn & Yijing

These are some pictures from yesterday’s shoot. A group of people from ICA. Today will be their banquet. More of those pictures when I’m back.

The sisters are really nice people. Their rationale for the gate crashing game is that if they think it’s too gross that they don’t even want to drink it, don’t make the brothers drink it. They even put the drink inside the fridge so that it taste better. Isn’t it so nice of them?

This little boy is so cute. The minute we saw him coming down to open the door, all of us went crazy over him. I can’t help snapping him again and again.

These days, a lot of couples choose to do their solemnization on their wedding day itself. It’s actually better cos you save a lot of time and effort. And Jaslyn & Yijing’s new home is really beautiful.
